You will soon reach a large square called Universitätsplatz. From here, head towards the main pedestrian street, Hauptstraße. Continue walking along Hauptstraße, which is a bustling shopping street, and eventually, you will find yourself in front of the large fountain, Herkulesbrunnen, which is located in the square near the entrance of the University of Heidelberg.

    From Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 5 in the direction of 'Heidelberg Altstadt'. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Heidelberg Altstadt' stop. Once you get off the tram, walk towards Hauptstraße. Continue along Hauptstraße until you reach the Universitätsplatz.
