Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from Lübeck's historic market square (Marktplatz), head south towards Breite Straße. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with St. Peter's Church (Sankt Petri). From there, turn left onto St. Peter's Street (Peterstraße). Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the canal (Obertrave). Turn right onto the path along the canal, and you will see Promenade an der Obertrave on your left at An d. Obertrave 14.

  • Public Transport

    Begin at Lübeck Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). Take Bus 7 or Bus 9 from the bus terminal outside the station. Get off at the stop 'Lübeck, Wallstraße'. From there, walk straight along Wallstraße until you reach the intersection with An d. Obertrave. Turn left and continue walking for a few minutes until you reach Promenade an der Obertrave, which will be on your right.

    If you are near the Holstentor (the famous gate), walk through the gate and head straight down Holstenstraße. Continue until you reach the intersection with Breite Straße.
