Start at the Marktplatz (Market Square) which is the central hub of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. From the Marktplatz, head southwest on Hauptstraße towards the direction of the Rothenburg Town Hall. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Spitalgasse. Turn left onto Spitalgasse. Follow Spitalgasse for about 500 meters, and you will see Spital Gate on your left side at Spitalgasse 55.

If you are near the Rothenburg Town Museum, exit the museum and head southeast on Spitalgasse. Continue straight for approximately 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Hauptstraße. Keep walking straight on Spitalgasse, and you will arrive at Spital Gate at Spitalgasse 55 on your left.

From the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station, exit the station and head east on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the outskirts of the old town. Once you enter the city walls, follow the signs towards the Marktplatz. From there, follow the previous guidance from Marktplatz to Spitalgasse.

If you are coming from the Medieval Crime Museum, exit the museum and head northwest along the street towards the city wall. Continue walking until you reach the gate leading into Spitalgasse. Turn right on Spitalgasse and walk for about 200 meters to reach Spital Gate at Spitalgasse 55.
