Getting There

Walking
From Europa Point, head northwest towards the main road, known as the Europa Road. Continue straight, passing by the iconic lighthouse on your right. Follow the road as it curves slightly to the left and becomes the A-7. Keep following the signs towards La Línea de la Concepción. After approximately 2.5 kilometers, you will reach the border with Spain. Once you cross the border, continue straight on the A-7 for about 30 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Tarifa. As you approach Tarifa, take the exit towards N-340 and follow the signs for Valdevaqueros Beach. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Valdevaqueros, known for its beautiful beach.

From Europa Point, walk to the nearby bus stop located at the entrance to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Catch the bus number 5 towards La Línea de la Concepción. The bus will take you through Gibraltar and drop you off at the La Línea bus station. From there, transfer to a bus heading towards Tarifa. Once in Tarifa, take a local bus or a taxi to Valdevaqueros Beach. The total travel time may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on connections.
