Walking
If you are in the heart of Plaka, start by heading towards the main square, Syntagma Square. From there, locate the street called Voulis and walk down it until you reach the intersection with Stadiou Street. Turn right onto Stadiou Street and continue straight for about 500 meters. Once you reach the intersection with Polignotou Street, turn left. The Roman Forum of Athens (Roman Agora) will be located just a few meters ahead on your right at Polignotou 3.

Public Transport
While Plaka is quite central and walkable, if you prefer using public transport, you can take the metro. From Syntagma Metro Station, take Line 3 (the blue line) towards the airport and get off at Monastiraki Station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs for the Monastiraki Square and then navigate towards the Roman Agora, which is a short 10-minute walk from the square. Head southeast on Ifestou Street, then turn left onto Polignotou Street, and you will find the Forum on your right.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi. Simply hail a taxi from the street or request one through a mobile app. Tell the driver to take you to Roman Agora at Polignotou 3. This option can be more expensive, typically costing around €5-€10, depending on traffic and your exact location in Plaka.
