Getting there

Car

If you are driving, start from the nearest major town in Chalkidiki, such as Polygyros or Neos Marmaras. From Polygyros, take the E90 highway towards Nikiti. After about 25 km, follow signs for Vourvourou. Continue on the road through Vourvourou, and you'll see signs for Karidi Beach. Once you reach the beach area, there is parking available nearby. Be aware that during peak season, parking may incur a small fee, typically around €5.

Public Transportation

If using public transportation, take a bus from Thessaloniki to Nikiti, which operates frequently throughout the day. The ticket costs approximately €10-€15. Once you arrive in Nikiti, you will need to catch a local bus or taxi to Vourvourou. The local bus may not run very often, so check the schedule in advance. Taxis are available and will cost around €15-€20 for the short trip to Karidi Beach from Nikiti. When you arrive in Vourvourou, follow the signs to Karidi Beach, which is within walking distance.

Bicycle

For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Vourvourou is a great way to reach Karidi Beach. There are several rental shops in town, and prices typically range from €10-€15 per day. The ride from Vourvourou to Karidi Beach is about 2 km and is quite scenic. Just follow the coastal road, and you’ll reach the beach in about 10-15 minutes.
