From Chania city center, head to the Chania Bus Station (Ktel) located on 1866 Square. Take a bus towards Sougia, which is a direct route. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Sougia, follow the signs towards Agia Irini Gorge, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. The trailhead is well-marked.
Taxi
You can hire a taxi from anywhere in Chania. Ask the driver to take you to Agia Irini Gorge, located in Anatolikos Selinos. This option will take about 45 minutes and will be more expensive than the bus. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are staying in the nearby village of Sougia, you can walk to Agia Irini Gorge. The path is scenic and will take you about 20 minutes. Simply follow the signs from the village towards the gorge, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
