Getting There

Walking
From the central square of Chania, head towards the harbor. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the far end of the harbor where the lighthouse is located. From there, take the street leading to the right (Sifaka Street) and continue walking until you reach the main road (Chatzimichali Daliani). Turn left and walk straight until you see the bus station on your right. From here, you can catch a bus to Rethymno. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at the Rethymno bus station, exit and head straight down Mavrokordatou Alexanrou Street. The Rimondi Fountain will be on your left after a short walk.

Starting from Chania, make your way to the central bus station located on 1866 Square. Purchase a ticket for Rethymno. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Rethymno bus station, exit the station and walk towards Mavrokordatou Alexanrou Street. The Rimondi Fountain is a short walk from the bus station, and you will find it to your left after walking a few minutes down the street.
