Bus
From Chania city center, head to the main bus station (Ktel Chanion). Look for the buses heading towards Minoa Pediada. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Minoa Pediada, disembark at the nearest stop and follow the signs towards the Cave of Agia Sofia. It should be a short walk of about 10-15 minutes uphill.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from any location in Chania. Simply hail a taxi or call one from a local taxi service. Provide the driver with 'Cave of Agia Sofia, Minoa Pediada 734 00'. The ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
For those adventurous enough to walk, start from Chania's Old Town. Head towards the harbor and follow the coastal road until you reach the intersection at the main road (National Road). Turn left and continue walking along the pavement towards Minoa Pediada. Note that this is a long walk (approximately 12 km) and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
