From the center of Chania, head towards the Old Harbor area. Walk along Halidon Street, which will lead you to the harbor. Once you reach the harbor, continue straight until you reach the Venetian Lighthouse. From there, follow the coastline eastward along the waterfront promenade. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the bus station. Take the KTEL bus heading towards Rethymno. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Rethymno, disembark at the main bus station. From the bus station, walk towards the old town, which is about a 15-minute stroll. Follow the signs leading to the Guora Gate, located on Antistaseos ke Dimakopoulou street.
