From Chania, head to the bus station located at KTEL Chania - Rethymno, which is situated at 1866 Square in the city center. Take a KTEL bus heading towards Sougia. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Sougia, you will need to walk to the Lissos Archaeological Site. From the bus stop in Sougia, follow the signs towards the beach and take the footpath that leads to the site. The walk is about 1.5 kilometers and takes around 30 minutes, offering beautiful views of the coastline and the surrounding nature.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike from Sougia to Lissos. After taking the bus to Sougia, follow the coastal path southward. The hike is about 2 kilometers and will take approximately 45 minutes.
