From Chania, head to the main bus station, which is located at 1866 Square. Take the bus to Plakias (look for signs indicating Plakias, as buses to various destinations leave from this station). The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Plakias, you can walk to Souda beach. Head towards the beach area, following the signs or locals' guidance. The beach is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Plakias bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Chania to Souda beach. You can find taxis at various locations in Chania, including the airport and the bus station. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Just tell the driver 'Souda beach' or show them the location on your phone.

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Chania. Start from the Old Town and head towards the coast, following the signs for Plakias. The ride will take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Be sure to bring plenty of water and take breaks as needed. Once you reach Plakias, follow the directions to Souda beach as mentioned above.
