Located within the Katholikon of the Monastery of San Salvatore, a Venetian church dating back to the 15th century, the museum displays a diverse collection of artifacts from the Byzantine, post-Byzantine, and Venetian eras. The collection includes items gathered from archaeological excavations, retrieved materials, and private donations, illustrating the historical and artistic profile of the Chania region.
