If you are traveling by car from the Cyclades, you will first need to take a ferry to the mainland. The most common route is to take a ferry from islands such as Naxos or Paros to the port of Piraeus in Athens. Once you arrive at Piraeus, follow signs for the E94 highway. Continue on E94 for approximately 1.5 hours until you reach the exit for Mycenae. The archaeological site is well-marked from the highway. The site is located at Mykines 212 00, and there is ample parking available nearby. Be aware that there may be tolls on the highway, so keep some cash or a credit card handy.

Public Transportation
To reach the archaeological site of Mycenae via public transportation, start by taking a ferry from your island (Naxos, Paros, or another Cycladic island) to Piraeus. From Piraeus, you can catch a bus to the city of Argos, which runs regularly throughout the day (the bus fare is approximately €12). Once you arrive in Argos, you will need to take a local bus or a taxi to Mycenae. The local bus may not run frequently, so checking the schedule ahead of time is advisable. If you opt for a taxi, it may cost around €20-30 for the short ride to Mycenae.
