Bus
From Heraklion city center, walk to the central bus station (Ktel) located at 1866 Square. Look for the bus that goes towards Kato Asites. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination, or check the stops displayed. Get off at the Kato Asites stop. From there, follow the signs to the Diamantakis Winery, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head northeast on the main road, and you will see the winery on your left.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Heraklion. Just inform the driver that you want to go to Diamantakis Winery in Kato Asites. The ride will take around 20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to verify the fare before starting the journey, but it should cost approximately €30-€40.
Walking
If you are staying close to the city center and prefer a more adventurous route, you can walk to the winery. Start at Lion Square and head east on 25th August Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the main road leading out of the city. Turn right and follow the road until you reach Kato Asites. The total distance is around 10 km, which may take roughly 2.5 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
