From Heraklion city center, head to the central bus station (KTEL) located at 1866 Square. Look for the bus that goes towards Agios Nikolaos, as it often stops near the Katharo Plateau. The journey takes about 40 minutes. When you arrive at the stop for Katharo Plateau, disembark and follow the signs towards the hiking trails.
Walking
If you are near the Venetian Harbor, walk towards the Liondaria Fountain, then head east on 25th August Street until you reach the central bus station (KTEL). From there, catch the bus to Katharo Plateau as mentioned above.

You can take a taxi from anywhere in Heraklion directly to Katharo Plateau. Just tell the driver 'Katharo Plateau' or show them the address: Καθαρόν 720 51. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
