Walking
From the center of Heraklion, start at the famous Liondaria (Lion Fountain) in Plateia Kornarou. Head northeast on 25th August Street towards the junction with Ikarou Street. Turn right onto Ikarou Street and continue straight until you reach the junction with K. Kourmouli Street. Turn left onto K. Kourmouli Street, which will lead you out of the city center. Continue walking on K. Kourmouli Street until you reach the bus station. From there, you can take a bus heading towards Psichro or continue walking along the path that leads into the countryside.

From Heraklion, head to the central bus station located at 1866 Square. Look for a bus that heads towards Psichro. The bus journey will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Psichro, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, follow the signs pointing towards the Psichron Fountain which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head southwest on the main road until you see the directional signs for the fountain.
