From Heraklion city center, walk to the central bus station (KTEL Heraklion) located at 1 K. Kourmouli Street. Take the bus heading towards Rethymno, and inform the driver that you want to stop at Mylopotamos. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Mylopotamos, walk down the main street until you reach Unnamed Road. The Shepherds Shelter is located on this road. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Heraklion. You can find taxis at various locations including the airport and the central bus station. The drive to The Shepherds Shelter takes about 40 minutes. Just provide the driver with the address: Unnamed Road, Milopotamos 740 51. Ensure to agree on the fare or ask the driver to use the meter.
