Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Venetian Walls, head towards the main entrance of the walls located at the junction of 62 Martiron Avenue and Theotokopoulou Street. As you exit the walls, continue straight on Theotokopoulou Street. After about 500 meters, you will reach a small square. Fountain Karavola is located just to the right of the square, easily visible.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    If you prefer public transportation, you can walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on 62 Martiron Avenue, near the entrance of the Venetian Walls. Take the bus that heads towards 'Palaiokastro.' The fare is approximately €1.50 for a single journey. After a short ride of about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Karavola' stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the Fountain, following the signs towards the center of Heraklion.
