Getting There

Car
From L'Ancresse Bay, head south on the main road (Route de la Lande) towards the town of St. Peter Port. You will pass several signs for attractions along the way. Continue for approximately 3.5 miles until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto La Rue de la Falaise. Follow this road and then turn right onto Becquet Road. Fermain Battery will be on your left. There is limited parking available near the battery, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.

From L'Ancresse Bay, you can catch a bus from the nearest bus stop. Check local bus schedules for routes heading to St. Peter Port. Take the bus to the St. Peter Port bus station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 91 or 92 towards Fermain Bay. Alight at the Fermain Bay stop. From the bus stop, it is a short walk uphill to Fermain Battery. Continue until you reach the Fermain Bay area. This route takes you through beautiful coastal paths, and after reaching Fermain Bay, you’ll have to walk uphill on Becquet Road to reach Fermain Battery. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 miles and may take around an hour.
