Public Transport
Start your journey at Deák Ferenc tér, a major transport hub in Budapest. From there, take the M1 (Yellow Line) metro towards Mexikói út and get off at the next stop, Vörösmarty tér. Exit the station and walk towards the river, following signs for the Danube. Take tram number 2 from the Vörösmarty tér tram stop, heading towards Jászai Mari tér. Ride the tram until you reach the Batthyány tér stop. From Batthyány tér, walk towards the Buda Castle area; the Turul statue is located on the hill above the castle, so head up the hill via the stairs or the winding paths leading to the statue. It should take around 15-20 minutes to reach the statue from the tram stop.

Walking
If you are already in the Castle District, navigate towards the Fisherman's Bastion. From there, head to the Matthias Church and continue walking up the hill. Follow the signs for the Turul statue, which is located near the entrance to the Buda Castle. The statue is perched on a hill and is visible from various points in the district, making it easier to spot as you walk. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes from the Fisherman's Bastion.

Bus
If you are near Széll Kálmán tér, you can take bus number 5 towards Ördögárok. Get off at the Bécsi út / Széll Kálmán tér stop. From there, walk towards the Buda Castle area, following the signs for the Turul statue. You will need to walk uphill for about 10-15 minutes to reach the statue. Enjoy the views along the way!
