Public Transport
From Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at Vörösmarty tér station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the Danube River and take the ferry from the Vörösmarty tér ferry terminal to the Buda side of the river (Buda side). After disembarking, follow the signs to the funicular railway at the Buda Castle. Take the funicular up to the castle area. From the castle, walk towards the northwest to reach Várhegy, which is just a short walk away.

Walking
If you are in the city center, you can walk to Várhegy. Start at Szentháromság tér, which is near the Buda Castle. Head northwest towards the Buda Hills, and follow the signs for Várhegy. The walk will take around 20-30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the city along the way.

Tram
From the city center, you can take Tram Line 4 or 6 from Széll Kálmán tér towards Móricz Zsigmond körtér. Get off at the stop called 'Dísz tér'. From there, it’s a short walk to Várhegy. Simply follow the signs leading towards Buda Castle, and you will arrive at Várhegy in about 10 minutes.
