    From the center of Vác, head south on Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight until you reach the Váci Bridge (Váci híd). Cross the bridge over the Danube River. Once you reach the other side, continue straight on the main road (Budapesti út) until you reach the M2 motorway entrance. Take the bus 120 or 130 from the bus stop at the entrance heading towards Budapest. Get off at the stop 'Csalán út' (approx. 30-40 minutes). The Béla Bartók Memorial House is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head up Csalán út, and the house will be on your left.

    From Vác, take a train from Váci train station to Budapest Nyugati Railway Station. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Budapest, exit the station and head to the nearby bus stop. Take bus number 120 or 130 towards 'Csalán út'. The ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at 'Csalán út' stop. The Béla Bartók Memorial House is just a short 5-minute walk up the road on your left.
