Walking
From the center of Borgarnes, head south on Borgarbraut road towards the Borgarnes Bridge. Continue walking until you reach the bridge and cross it. Once you are on the other side, follow the signs for Route 1 towards Reykjavík. After crossing the bridge, you will find a bus stop on your right where you can catch a bus to Reykjavík. The bus ride takes about an hour. Once in Reykjavík, get off at the stop closest to Austurstræti. From there, walk towards Austurstræti 18, which will be on your left.

You can catch a bus from the Borgarnes bus terminal. Look for the bus service that operates to Reykjavík. The bus ride will take approximately one hour. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, you can either walk to Austurstræti 18 or take a local bus that stops near Austurstræti. If walking, head towards the city center, and follow the signs to Austurstræti. The bookstore will be located at number 18 on this street.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Borgarnes to Reykjavík. Start on Borgarbraut road and follow it towards the Borgarnes Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on Route 1 towards Reykjavík. The ride is about 70 km and would take several hours, so plan accordingly. Once in Reykjavík, head towards the city center and find Austurstræti 18. Biking is a great way to see the scenic views along the coast!
