From Dynjandi Waterfall, start by heading southeast on Route 60. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Route 61. Follow this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Saurbær. Upon entering Saurbær, follow the signs to Rauðisandur Beach. The beach is located at F2G5+29J, which is a short drive down a gravel road that leads directly to the beach.

To reach Rauðisandur Beach from Dynjandi Waterfall using public transport, you will first need to take a bus from the nearest bus stop. Check local schedules for the nearest bus service (usually operated by Strætó). You will take a bus towards Patreksfjörður and get off at the nearest stop in Saurbær. From there, it is a short walk to Rauðisandur Beach, following the signs or asking locals for directions. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as the service may be limited.
