    From Grindavik, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the center of town near the Grindavik Library. Take the bus number 55 towards Reykjavík. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Reykjavík bus station (BSÍ), transfer to bus number 14 or 1, which will take you to the stop 'Lækjartorg'. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to The National Gallery of Iceland. Head northeast on Lækjargata, turn left onto Fríkirkjuvegur, and the gallery will be on your left at number 7.

    If you prefer to walk to the bus station, start at the Grindavik Library, located in the town center. Walk northeast for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus stop. Board the bus number 55 towards Reykjavík, then proceed as described above to switch to bus number 14 or 1 at the Reykjavík bus station. After getting off at 'Lækjartorg', walk northeast on Lækjargata, left onto Fríkirkjuvegur, and you will find The National Gallery of Iceland at number 7.
