Turn left onto Suðurstrandarvegur and continue walking for about 200 meters until you reach the bus stop on the right side. From there, take the bus heading to Reykjavik. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next available departure.

    Once you are on the bus heading to Reykjavik, stay on the bus for approximately 50 minutes. The bus will stop at various points, but you should get off at the stop closest to Skólavörðustígur, which is usually announced by the driver. After disembarking, you will need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the Leif Eriksson Monument.

    After getting off the bus, walk towards the direction of Skólavörðustígur street. You will see a sign for the street. Walk along Skólavörðustígur for about 750 meters.
