Bus
From the center of Hafnarfjordur, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Hafnarfjordur Bus Station. Take Bus Number 1 towards the 'Lækjartorg' stop. Once you reach the 'Lækjartorg' stop, transfer to Bus Number 3 heading towards 'Möðruvallavegur'. Stay on this bus until you reach the 'Möðruvellir' stop. From there, it's a short walk of about 5 minutes to the Gunnuhver Hot Springs. Follow the signs along the path, which will lead you directly to the springs.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the Hafnarfjordur town square. Head north toward Strandgata and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Birkimelur. Turn left on Birkimelur and walk straight until you reach the 'Möðruvallavegur'. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you reach Möðruvallavegur, look for signs directing you to the Gunnuhver Hot Springs, which are about a 15-minute walk from the main road.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Hafnarfjordur. Start your ride from the Hafnarfjordur town center and head southwest towards Strandgata. Continue until you reach the bike path that leads to the outskirts of Hafnarfjordur. Follow the path along the coast until you reach the 'Möðruvallavegur' road. Turn right and follow the road for about 4 kilometers. You will find the Gunnuhver Hot Springs on your left-hand side. The bike ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
