From the center of Hveragerdi, head northeast on Austurvegur street towards the intersection with Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1). This is about a 10-minute walk. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Þjóðvegur 1 and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Reykjadalur on your right. There is a small parking area, but you will continue walking beyond this point.
