Walking
From the center of Hveragerdi, head northeast on Austurvegur street towards the intersection with Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1). This is about a 10-minute walk. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Þjóðvegur 1 and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Reykjadalur on your right. There is a small parking area, but you will continue walking beyond this point.

After passing the parking area, continue on the marked trail that leads into Reykjadalur valley. The hike is approximately 3 kilometers one way and can take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. The trail is well-marked and winds through beautiful landscapes, so take your time and enjoy the scenery. Follow the signs for Reykjadalur Hot Springs.

Upon reaching the hot springs, you will find several geothermal pools along the river. Please respect the natural surroundings and follow any posted guidelines.
