To reach Thingvellir National Park by car from Reykjavík, start by heading east on Hringbraut (Route 49) toward the city exit. Continue on Route 49 until you merge onto the Þingvallavegur road (Route 36). Follow Route 36 for approximately 47 kilometers (about 40 minutes) until you reach the entrance to Thingvellir National Park. Look for signs indicating the park entrance. Note that there may be a parking fee of around 500 ISK (Icelandic Krona) for parking in the designated areas.

To get to Thingvellir National Park via public transportation, take a bus from Reykjavík BSI Bus Terminal.
