If you're driving from downtown Reykjavík, start by heading northeast on Laugavegur towards Hringbraut. Continue on Hringbraut which will turn into Bústaðavegur. Follow Bústaðavegur until you reach the intersection with Úlfarsfellsgata. Turn left onto Úlfarsfellsgata and continue straight until you arrive at the base of Úlfarsfell. There is some parking available near the trailhead, but it can fill up quickly on weekends.
