Getting There

Walking
From the center of Seydisfjordur, head towards the main road (Þjóðvegur 1). Walk along the road until you reach the exit of the town, where the road begins to curve. Continue on the road as it leads you out of Seydisfjordur and into the surrounding landscape. Keep walking for approximately 45 minutes to an hour, enjoying the beautiful views of the fjord and mountains. You'll eventually reach the junction where the road splits. Take the road that leads to Bakkagerði. Follow this road for about 30 minutes until you see signs for Borgarfjarðarhöfn. The destination will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Seydisfjordur and make your way towards Þjóðvegur 1. Once you reach the main road, cycle towards the east out of Seydisfjordur. This route is approximately 10 km and should take around 30-40 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Pay attention to the road signs indicating the direction to Bakkagerði. As you approach Bakkagerði, look for signs for Borgarfjarðarhöfn which will be located on the left side of the road.
