Car
From Skaftafell, head east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Höfn. Continue for approximately 45 kilometers. Look for the sign for Fjallsárlón on your right, just after passing the turnoff for Jökulsárlón. Turn onto the road leading to Fjallsárlón and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach the lagoon. There is no entrance fee, but be mindful of parking regulations.

Public Transportation
Take the bus from Skaftafell to Höfn. The bus service operates several times a day. Once you arrive in Höfn, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a shuttle service to Fjallsárlón, as public transport does not go directly to the lagoon. Expect to pay around 15,000 ISK for a taxi from Höfn to Fjallsárlón, which is approximately a 30-minute drive.

Biking
For the adventurous, you can rent a bike in Skaftafell and cycle to Fjallsárlón. The ride will take around 2 to 3 hours, depending on your pace. Follow Route 1 eastward for about 45 kilometers, being cautious of traffic. Once you reach the sign for Fjallsárlón, you'll take a smaller road leading to the lagoon. Ensure you have a helmet and proper biking gear for safety.
