If you're driving from Reykjavik, take Route 41 towards Keflavik International Airport. After about 45 kilometers, take the exit for Route 43 towards Grindavik. Follow Route 43 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Grindavik. Once in Grindavik, look for Norðurljósavegur (Northern Lights Road). Turn left onto Norðurljósavegur, and Northern Light Inn & Max's Restaurant will be on your left at number 1.

To get to Northern Light Inn & Max's Restaurant using public transportation, take the Flybus or Airport Express from Reykjavik to Keflavik International Airport. From there, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading to Grindavik. The bus journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Grindavik, walk towards Norðurljósavegur (Northern Lights Road). The restaurant is located at number 1, and is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
