Hiking from Þórsmörk
Start your journey at the Þórsmörk Visitor Center. From there, follow the marked hiking trail leading to Stora-Dimon. The trail begins by heading eastward, crossing a small stream. Continue on the path that leads you through scenic landscapes of birch forests and moss-covered rocks. After approximately 2 kilometers of hiking, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Stora-Dimon. The trail can be steep in places, so ensure you have sturdy hiking boots and plenty of water. The hike will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

If you prefer not to hike, consider booking a 4x4 vehicle transfer from Þórsmörk to Stora-Dimon. Several local companies offer guided tours that include transportation.
