From Vatnajokull National Park, drive south on Route 1 for approximately 2 hours until you reach the town of Hofn. From Hofn, continue driving east on Route 1 for about 25 minutes until you reach the turnoff for Route 998. Take Route 998 and follow the signs for Diamond Beach. The beach is located at the mouth of the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon.
