Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 500 ISK.

For public transportation, take a bus from Þingvellir National Park to Hveragerði. The bus service is operated by Strætó, and you can check their schedule for the most current times. Once you arrive in Hveragerði, you will need to walk approximately 4 kilometers to reach the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River trailhead. The walk will take about 45 minutes and follows a scenic path through the valley.
