From Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, exit the site and head west on Collinsville Road. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with IL-157. Turn left onto IL-157 South. After approximately 2 miles, take the exit for I-55/I-70 South toward Memphis. Merge onto I-55/I-70 South and continue for about 6 miles. Take exit 5B for IL-157 North toward Collinsville. Merge onto IL-157 North and drive for about 3 miles. Turn right onto W Main St. The Collinsville Historical Museum will be on your left at 406 W Main St, Collinsville, IL 62234.
