    Walking

    The Belvedere Mansion is located at 1008 Park Avenue, a short walk from Galena's downtown area. From Main Street, head south on Bench Street, then turn left onto Park Avenue. The mansion will be on your right. Walking from downtown takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

    Public Transport

    Jo Daviess County Transit provides public transportation within Galena. Check their schedules for routes and times to the Belvedere Mansion. A one-way fare is approximately $0.50 within Galena. Note that advance notice of at least 24 hours is required.

    Taxi/Ride-Share

    Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are available in Galena. A short taxi or Uber ride from downtown to the Belvedere Mansion will cost approximately $8-$15.

    Driving

    If driving, from Highway 20, take South Bench Street to Gear Street, and a free parking lot is available just south of the U.S. 20 bridge on the west side of the river. From there, walk to Park Avenue. Alternatively, all-day paid parking is available at the Galena City Hall parking lot at 101 Green Street for $10. Limited street parking is also available. Be sure to read parking regulation signs before parking.
