From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, head northwest on 8th St toward E Monroe St. Take a left onto E Monroe St and continue for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto 6th St and continue for another 0.5 miles. Merge onto I-55 N via the ramp on the left toward Chicago. After about 3 miles, take exit 92B for Clear Lake Ave. Continue on Clear Lake Ave for about 1.5 miles, and then turn left onto Carpenter Park Trl. The park entrance will be on your right. Parking is available at Carpenter Park.

Public Transportation
From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, walk to the nearest bus stop at 6th St & Monroe St. Take the Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) bus route 10 toward the North End. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the Clear Lake Ave & Carpenter Park stop. From there, walk a short distance along Carpenter Park Trl to reach the park entrance. Note that bus fare is approximately $1.50 per trip.
