Public Transportation
From Palatine, walk to the nearest Metra station, which is Palatine Station. Once there, purchase a ticket for the Chicago Union Station. Board a train heading towards Chicago. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at the Chicago Union Station. From the station, take the 'Pink Line' train towards 18th and Damen. Get off at the 18th station and transfer to bus number 47 at the corner of 18th and State Street. This bus will take you directly to S. State St. and 33rd St. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to S. R. Crown Hall, located at 3360 S State St.

If you're up for biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations in Palatine. Head south on N Northwest Hwy, then turn onto E Dundee Rd. Continue biking until you reach the bike path that connects to the Des Plaines River Trail. Follow the trail south until it leads you into Chicago. As you approach the city, navigate towards S. State St. Once you reach S. State St., continue south until you arrive at S. R. Crown Hall, located at 3360 S State St.

For those who prefer walking, starting from the center of Palatine, head south on N Smith St. Continue straight until you reach E Northwest Hwy. Cross over and follow the path that leads to S. State St. This route is about 30 miles and can take a significant amount of time. If you're determined, keep walking south along S. State St. until you reach 3360 S State St, where S. R. Crown Hall is located. Please ensure you take breaks and stay hydrated along the way.
