Driving
Starved Rock Lodge is located within Starved Rock State Park. From Interstate 80, take exit 81 for IL-178 South. Follow IL-178 South for approximately 4 miles to the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Lodge. Parking is available at the Lodge parking lot or the overflow lot across from the Lodge. Parking is free. During peak season, parking lots may close when full.

Trolley
The Starved Rock Lodge offers trolley tours of the park and surrounding area. The trolley picks up guests at the Lodge. Check the Starved Rock Lodge website or call the Activities Office for tour schedules and reservations. Tickets are required for all tours.

Walking
From the Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center, follow the paved path towards the Illinois River. The path leads to a metal staircase that connects to the Lodge. The walk is approximately 1/8 mile. Alternatively, from the Lodge parking lot, various trailheads are accessible for exploring the park's canyons and overlooks.
