If you are starting from the Golden Temple, exit the temple complex and head towards the main road (Maidan-e-Aam). Turn left onto the road and walk towards the clock tower (Ghanta Ghar). This should take around 10-15 minutes. From the clock tower, continue straight for another 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Katra Ahluwalia Street. Turn right onto Katra Ahluwalia Street and walk for about 5 minutes. Look for the sign for Udasin Akhara Sangal Wala at S23/396 on your left.
