Akal Takht Sahib is located within the Golden Temple complex, easily accessible on foot once you reach the perimeter. Enter the complex through one of the main entrances and follow the signs towards the Harmandir Sahib. Akal Takht is situated directly opposite the Golden Temple.

From Amritsar Bus Stand (ISBT), the Golden Temple is approximately 1.8 km away. You can take a free bus service provided by the Golden Temple Management Committee. Alternatively, local buses and auto-rickshaws are readily available. Bus fares are minimal (under ₹50), while auto-rickshaws may cost ₹20-₹40. From Amritsar Railway Station, the Golden Temple is about 2.5 km away. A free bus service is also available from the railway station.
