Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Darjeeling Mall, head towards Nehru Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction at Chowrasta. From Chowrasta, take a left onto Gandhi Road. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Ghoom Monastery Road. Turn right onto Ghoom Monastery Road and continue walking for about 15-20 minutes. The Tibetan Buddhist Monastery will be on your left, with clear signage and a beautiful entrance.

If you are at the Darjeeling Railway Station, walk towards the main road and take a left onto Hill Cart Road. Proceed straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Ghoom Monastery Road. Take a left onto Ghoom Monastery Road, and after about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will find the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery on your left.

You can take a shared rickshaw from the Darjeeling Mall area. Ask the driver to take you to Ghoom Monastery. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, simply walk towards the entrance of the monastery which is a short distance from where the rickshaw drops you off.
