From Shillong, take NH6 towards Jowai. After approximately 56 km, you will reach the town of Jowai. Continue on the same road for another 15 km until you see signs for Mawrah. Turn left onto the road leading to Mawrah. Follow this road for about 10 km, and you will arrive at Mawrah, Lawlhun. The entire journey from Shillong to Mawrah takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

From Shillong, head to the local bus station and catch a bus heading towards Jowai. Buses are frequent and the fare is approximately ₹100-₹150 per person. Once you reach Jowai, you can hire a local taxi or shared jeep to Mawrah which will cost around ₹300-₹400 per person. The shared jeep will take about 30-45 minutes to reach Mawrah, depending on road conditions.
