    Start your journey at the Michigan City Public Library located at 100 E 4th St, Michigan City, IN 46360. From the library, head east on E 4th St for about three blocks until you reach Franklin St. Turn right and walk south on Franklin St until you reach E 2nd St. Turn left onto E 2nd St and continue until you reach the intersection with Pine St. Here, you will see a sign for Washington Park. Enter Washington Park and follow the path towards the lake. Once you reach the shoreline, you will see the pier. Walk along the pier towards the East Pierhead Lighthouse, which is located at the end of the pier.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the Michigan City Skatepark on E 4th St and Franklin St. From there, head south on Franklin St to E 2nd St. Take a left onto E 2nd St and bike straight until you reach Washington Park.
