The Calumet City Historical Society is located just off I-94. Take the Wentworth Ave exit and head south. You will find the society on your right after a short drive. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach the Calumet City Historical Society via public transportation, you can take the South Shore Line train to the Hammond station. From Hammond, transfer to the Pace bus route 359 towards Calumet City. Get off at the Wentworth Ave and 162nd St stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 0.3 miles) south on Wentworth Ave to reach 760 Wentworth Ave. Be aware that bus fares typically cost around $2.00 to $3.00 and train fares may vary depending on your starting location.
