Bicycle
If you're in the Ubud area, rent a bicycle and head east on Jalan Raya Ubud. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Raya Tampaksiring. Turn right and follow this road until you reach the Tjampuhan Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on Jalan Raya Tampaksiring. This road will lead you towards the main road to Karangasem. Once you reach the intersection at Kerta Village, turn left onto Jalan Raya Karangasem. Continue for about 10 kilometers, and look for signs directing you to Tenganan Village. The village is located just off the main road.

From Ubud, take a public bus to Amlapura. Look for buses heading towards Karangasem or Amlapura at the Ubud bus terminal. The journey may take around 1.5 hours. Once in Amlapura, transfer to a local bemo (minibus) heading to Tenganan Village, which is about 10 kilometers away.
