From Ubud, head east on Jalan Raya Ubud towards Jalan Monkey Forest. Continue straight onto Jalan Raya Tjampuhan, following signs for Jalan Raya Batubulan. After about 20 minutes, merge onto Jalan Raya Semarapura, and keep going until you reach the intersection with Jalan Raya Sengkidu. Turn left onto Jalan Telaga Ngembeng. Bugbug Village is located at GH6V+FMG, Jl. Telaga Ngembeng, Sengkidu, Kec. Manggis, Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali 80811. The total drive takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

To reach Bugbug Village from Ubud by public transportation, take a local bemo (minibus) heading towards Amlapura from the Ubud Central Station. The fare is around IDR 20,000. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Sengkidu stop. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or hire a local taxi or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Bugbug Village. The taxi fare should be around IDR 30,000 - IDR 50,000.
